IDA KAPPLER October 10, 1919 - January 15, 2008 Ida passed away peacefully at Donwood Manor, to be with her Lord. Born in Gnadental, Romania. Predeceased by her husband Gotthilf (1975). She leaves behind her son Heinz and wife Gisela of Victoria and her two grandchildren, Ian (Winnipeg) and Karl (Berkeley). We don't weep at her passing, as she has gone to a better place. A special thank-you to the staff at Donwood for the care they have given over the past eight years. Also the family thanks Christel and Sigi Termath, and Vera and Walter Philipsen for the many visits they made. Memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Apostolic Church, 1755 Taylor Ave., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Donwood Personal Care Home, or a charity of your choice. Barringer Funeral Services in care of arrangements, 952-7741.
